Alessi Plisse Toaster White

This toaster is an object with an elegant design: the colours chosen by the author and the pleated surface offer ample reason why it is a real eye-catcher on any kitchen work surface. It contains three buttons to Stop/Eject, Defrost & Bagel. 6 browning levels.

Designed by Michele De Lucchi, this is a range inspired by the plissé that come from the fashions of the 1950s and 1960s when pleated skirts created stunning effects of floaty and frothy fabrics, but the plissé is still contemporary. Pleats give volume to dresses, conveying a sense of lightness and happiness. In a word, the Plissé is a highly iconic form that we have taken for its cheerful and festive spirit.

Easy to clean. We recommend cleaning the tongs under running water and with non-abrasive soap. - The crumb tray can be easily pulled-out like a drawer

 

The outer shell is made from thermoplastic resin while the internal parts are made from stainless steel.

Available in packaging made from recycled cardboard which features a reproduction of the original sketch by the author.

The slots are approx 3.5cm wide x 13.5 cm long x 12 cm deep.
